After her graduating from the Faculty of Law, Gorkem studied for a Master’s degree at the Middle East Technical University in the field of European Union studies.

She completed her post-graduate studies at Hamburg University (Germany) with a thesis on human rights.

She has worked in London (U.K.) Currently, she works as an attorney and legal consultant in Istanbul, Turkey in the fields of IT Law, Corporate and Commercial Law, Foreign Investments, Contract Law for clients both foreign and domestic.

Görkem Şimşek has been practising as a Mediator since 2019.
